February 28th – however hard I try to be upbeat, there’s no disguising the fact that the last 10 days have been nothing but overcast skies and gloom. The sun came out last Saturday, but after 10 minutes, decided it was all a dreadful mistake. That was its only appearance out our way for 10 days. So 10 days of prime stargazing time down the tube. As I drove to the station at 5 a.m. this morning, the moon was so bright, I un-dipped my headlights. Next week looks better.
